history: Named and bounded by Minister for Survey and Valuation, Urban and Regional Affairs 11 August 1975. Boundary altered by the Minister for Natural Resources and Minister for Mines, 21 November 2003. Boundary amended on 9 December 2011 due to part of the suburb of Eagle Farm being excised and added to the suburb of Nundah when the suburb of Brisbane Airport was created on 5 August 2011. Refer to QPN1167. The boundary separating Nundah and Clayfield was amended by Place Name Decision (Amendment) Notice (No 06) 2013 published in the Queensland Government Gazette on 26 July 2013 vide CHQ022459/797. Boundary between Northgate and Nundah amended vide CHQ022459/959 effective on 5th January 2015.
