The Sugarcane biosecurity zones dataset is the spatial representation of the Sugarcane biosecurity zones 1 to 6 represented by lines at specified Latitude & Longitude then clipped by the Queensland State border to the west and south and Local Government Authority boundaries on the seaward extremities. These boundaries are current as of 29thJune 2016These boundaries are the legislative boundaries where movement restrictions apply to restrict the spread of pests and diseases within the state. Zone 1 and 2 are established as biosecurity zones for the Fiji leaf gall virus(syn. Fiji disease virus); and the Sugarcane striate mosaic-associated virus.Zone 3 is established as a biosecurity zone for the Fiji leaf gall virus(syn. Fiji disease virus) Zone 4 and 5 are established as biosecurity zones for the Fiji leaf gall virus(syn. Fiji disease virus); and the Sugarcane striate mosaic virus(Strain A)Zone 6 is established as a biosecurity zone for the Fiji leaf gall virus(syn.
